THE STORY OF NEHEMIAH

At Pilton Bluecoat Academy we are inspired by the example of Nehemiah and what he did in order to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem that had been destroyed. 

Nehemiah cared deeply about his home and wanted to do all he could to protect and improve it. His story has much that can teach us how to live, love and learn to the full. 

Nehemiah:

• Had a clear vision of what needed to be achieved
• Acted in faith
• Included all members of the community
• Acted bravely and wisely
• Was faithful
• Used the best materials
• Inspired others
• Persevered
• Created something beautiful and lasting.

His story has much that can teach us how to live, love and learn to the full as we continue to build our school community.
