Our recent visit to Cobbaton Combat Collection and in-school dress up day really helped the children engage with our topic this term.  The latter was a truly immersive experience, when our children enjoyed the opportunity to step back in time and gain insight into the life of an evacuee during the war.   

At the Cobbaton Combat Collection they were able to see and handle WW2 artefacts, including army uniforms, masks, grenades, guns and tanks. 

Our children and teachers are looking forward to using all the information they learnt back in the classroom.
