London 2025 Year 5 Residential

Fifty five of our year 5 children
spent a wonderful and busy four days in our capital city.
There was so much packed into the schedule which started with a smooth journey on the coach straight to the Harry Potter studios where they enjoyed a tour. Then it was off to the hostel for an evening meal and to send a postcard home. Bright and early the next day they were off to the Houses of Parliament, it was a great opportunity for the children to share what they had learnt about democracy and they certainly impressed the tour guides.
The weather was perfect for incredible views from the London Eye and everyone was impressed by the beauty of St Paul's Cathedral. After another delicious evening meal the evening was all about Matilda the musical, where they donned their smart outfits and were very excited!
The next day was spent at the Tower of London and then a trip to London zoo where they were entertained by some very naughty monkeys!
An night tour of London was informative with a lot of interesting facts.
Finally an informative visit to the Science Museum before the journey home.
Thank you to all the children and our staff who took them, the children were a credit to us and we are so proud of them all, it was a busy and tiring week albeit a wonderful experience and they were all totally awesome!
