A team of Year 5/6 children took part in the Barnstaple area indoor athletics competition hosted at Pilton Community College against other local schools in a range of running, jumping and throwing events. The children showed fantastic teamwork and determination to win and qualify for the North Devon Area Finals which consisted of the top 16 schools in North Devon. Throughout the day, the children showed a particular strength in their running, winning all of their relay races and coming 2nd in one, showing that they really could compete with the best in the area. Overall Pilton Bluecoat finished in 7th position.
